Automation Engineer (n8n Specialist)

About the role

Huzzle connects professionals with global companies and is hiring an Automation Engineer (n8n specialist) to design, build and maintain the workflow automation systems that power its clients' operations. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on delivering automation within sprint cycles, working closely with the automation lead and operations team. The position is full-time and fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Build, test and deploy n8n workflows for lead enrichment, signal detection, outreach sequencing, reply routing and reporting, and optimise existing workflows for error handling, logging, speed and scalability
• Design modular, reusable workflows rather than one-off builds, and troubleshoot production issues quickly
• Build and maintain integrations between tools such as Airtable, Clay, Slack, CRM systems, outreach platforms and custom APIs, managing data integrity through field mapping, validation, deduplication and error handling
• Work with webhooks, REST APIs, authentication systems and JSON transformations
• Work within Airtable-managed sprint cycles, estimate effort, attend standups, planning and retrospectives, and document workflows and architecture decisions
• Test workflows thoroughly, monitor production automations and keep environments organised with consistent naming and credential management

Required profile

• Extensive n8n automation experience in production environments
• Proven experience with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON transformations and authentication (OAuth, API keys)
• Experience in agile or sprint-based environments and strong remote collaboration skills
• Ability to write clear technical documentation

Required skills

• Proficiency with Airtable as a data tool and project management system
• Strong understanding of workflow execution, error handling branches, webhook triggers and sub-workflows
• Preferred: JavaScript or Python, integration with AI/LLM APIs, and familiarity with tools such as Clay, HeyReach, SmartLead or HubSpot

What we offer

• Fully remote work with international teams
• Ongoing support from Huzzle before and after placement
• Tailored compensation matched to client and candidate preference
