Assistant Housekeeping Manager

About the role

The Assistant Housekeeping Manager supports the Housekeeping team at Four Seasons Buenos Aires, ensuring guest rooms and all public and back‑of‑house areas remain immaculate. This onsite position works closely with the Housekeeping Manager and other hotel departments to deliver the brand’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise shift staff, assign tasks, and maintain quality standards in rooms and public areas.
• Oversee staff training and monitor compliance with quality, service, productivity, and efficiency benchmarks.
• Manage inventory and quality control for laundry and external dry‑cleaning services.
• Participate in recruitment and selection of housekeeping personnel.
• Handle administrative duties related to the housekeeping department.
• Assist the team with operational tasks as needed.
• Coordinate work orders with Engineering and conduct follow‑up inspections.
• Contribute to monthly department meetings and reporting.

Required profile

• Graduate or advanced student in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar supervisory housekeeping role.
• Advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
• Strong leadership, staff coordination, and service orientation.
• Legal documentation permitting employment in Argentina.
