Applications Engineer – Aftermarket (Mendoza)

About the role

Flowserve is looking for an Applications Engineer (Aftermarket) to join its Mendoza office. In this position you will provide technical support for estimating and analysing pump spare parts, develop quotations, and assist in the selection of mechanical seals and related solutions for rotating equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Estimate aftermarket spare parts and pump components.
• Prepare technical quotations for parts and services.
• Support mechanical seal and API plan selection, including training.
• Evaluate technical requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
• Participate in analysis of complex components such as rotors.
• Assist in medium‑term pump repair estimations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create techno‑commercial proposals.
• Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Materials Engineering.
• 3–5 years experience as an Applications Engineer or in a similar technical sales role.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Interest in aftermarket and rotating equipment.
• Willingness to work onsite full‑time in Mendoza.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Knowledge of SAP.
