Activities Director – Senior Care Facility

About the role

Del Rosa Villa is looking for an experienced Activities Director to lead a vibrant, resident‑centered program. In this full‑time position you will design and oversee activities that support the physical, social, and emotional wellbeing of our seniors.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement a comprehensive activities calendar tailored to resident interests.
• Lead and supervise activities staff and volunteers, ensuring high‑quality delivery.
• Conduct resident assessments and contribute to individualized care plans.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations governing long‑term‑care activities.
• Coordinate special events, outings, and community involvement opportunities.
• Document progress notes, reports, and activity outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to align activities with overall care goals.

Required profile

• Previous experience in activities programming within a skilled‑nursing or healthcare setting (preferred).
• Certification or eligibility for an Activities Director credential (preferred).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Ability to create engaging programs for diverse resident populations.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for long‑term‑care activities programs (preferred).
