Accounting Specialist – LATAM

About the role

Kaizen Gaming is seeking a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Accounting Specialist to support its Finance team across multiple LATAM entities. You will ensure accurate month‑end closes, maintain strong internal controls, and provide high‑quality financial information to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the monthly accounting close for several LATAM entities, delivering timely and accurate financial reports.
• Review accounting entries, reconciliations, accruals, and provisions for compliance with standards and company policies.
• Perform variance analysis, investigate discrepancies, and deliver insightful explanations.
• Prepare and review balance‑sheet reconciliations with proper documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and tax requirements across LATAM jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with external partners, auditors, and internal teams to resolve accounting matters.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing activities, meeting all deadlines.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance to junior accounting team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multinational or regional environment.
• Strong knowledge of local accounting standards, tax regulations, and month‑end close processes in LATAM, especially Argentina, Colombia, and Peru.
• Proven ability to work with multiple country entities and cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, SAP, or Oracle.
