Accounting & Reporting Analyst – Payables

About the role

As an Accounting & Reporting Analyst – Payables you will support the accounts payable function within ABB's Finance team in Buenos Aires. You will ensure accurate, timely processing of vendor invoices and provide insightful reporting to aid financial decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality checks on financial reporting data and monitor fluctuations.
• Support ICoFR compliance for the Accounts Payable team, participate in internal control testing and documentation.
• Process vendor invoices promptly, ensuring all required documentation and approvals are in place.
• Enter invoice and payment details into the accounting system with high accuracy and reconcile vendor statements.
• Collaborate with Finance colleagues on invoicing, accounts receivable, accounting, and audit activities as needed.

Required profile

• Degree (or advanced student) in Foreign Trade, Business Administration, Accounting or related fields.
• 2–3 years of experience in finance, administration, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations or payment‑related activities.
• Hands‑on experience with AP/AR processes, payment reconciliations and foreign trade operations.
• Knowledge of SAP (desirable) and a general understanding of international and local payment processes.
• Intermediate or higher proficiency in English and strong customer‑relationship skills.
