Accounting Manager (U.S. Experience)

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Manager with U.S. experience to lead full‑cycle accounting for a portfolio of eCommerce clients. The role combines controller‑level responsibilities with a strong client‑facing component, allowing you to own month‑end close, reconciliations and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Own full‑cycle accounting and monthly close for multiple eCommerce brands, delivering a clean five‑day close.
• Review and approve the work of junior accountants, ensuring accuracy, completeness and proper documentation.
• Prepare and review bank, credit‑card, AR/AP, inventory, COGS, prepaid, accrual and returns reconciliations.
• Communicate directly with clients—founders and finance teams—to provide updates, clarify questions and flag issues early.
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen internal controls and accelerate workflow efficiency.

Required skills

• Full‑cycle accounting and month‑end close experience.
• Strong knowledge of reconciliations (bank, credit‑card, AR/AP, inventory, COGS, prepaid, accruals, returns).
• Experience working with high‑growth eCommerce brands on platforms such as Shopify and Amazon.
• Proficiency in standard accounting software and Excel.
