Accounting Manager

About the role

Alpha Lion is seeking an Accounting Manager to own the month‑end close and general ledger accounting operations. In this remote position you will ensure accurate, audit‑ready financial records and support the fast‑growing business with timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end close tasks including journal entries, account reconciliations, transaction coding and financial statement preparation.
• Maintain GL accuracy, ensure all entries are properly supported and audit‑ready.
• Perform recurring weekly accounting tasks such as data sync monitoring, transaction processing and report maintenance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams on ad‑hoc projects, including ERP enhancements, data flows and tax preparation support.

Required profile

• 4+ years of accounting experience with direct ownership of month‑end close and GL accounting.
• Proactive ownership, strong documentation habits and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Comfortable working remotely with global teams across time zones.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or equivalent is a plus.

Required skills

• NetSuite proficiency.
