Accounting Analyst – GL

About the role

Vylor is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join its finance strategic projects team within the controllership organization. The GL Project Resource will design and implement general ledger solutions, support SAP implementations, and drive automation to improve productivity and efficiency across global finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, create and build general ledger solutions for global controllership teams.
• Assist with SAP implementations for GL and data migration for ERP transformation projects.
• Develop and implement miscellaneous billing processes and automation tools.
• Maintain project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, issues, and risks with regular status updates.
• Train business users on new processes and ensure smooth transitions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5‑8 years of experience in controllership and month/year‑end closing.
• Strong knowledge of local GAAP, foreign currency accounting, and finance master data (cost centers, customers, vendors, GL).
• Proven experience in SAP implementations, especially SD/Billing processes.

Required skills

• Strong SAP technical skills, including posting GL transactions and using upload tools/batch jobs.
• Advanced Excel, Access, and Office proficiency.
• Experience with process improvement and automation.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and leadership abilities.
