Accountant – US GAAP & QBO for Hospitality Clients

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Accountant to manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping for a portfolio of hospitality clients, including hotels and restaurants, under US GAAP standards. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in LATAM or Europe while delivering accurate financial statements and timely month‑end closes.

Key responsibilities

• Own full‑cycle accounting for multiple hospitality clients, including general ledger management, month‑end close, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations and journal entries.
• Communicate directly with clients to gather information, clarify transactions and present results.
• Identify discrepancies, process gaps and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience with full‑cycle close ownership.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP applied in a professional setting.
• Experience serving US‑based or US‑facing clients.
• Ability to manage several client accounts simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Self‑directed, organized and comfortable working without micromanagement.
