Windows Application Developer – Partner Engineer (LATAM)

About the role

We help strategic ISV partners bring their desktop applications into the Windows ecosystem and Microsoft Store. This position sits at the intersection of deep Windows expertise and partner enablement, focusing on troubleshooting complex platform issues and delivering reference implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with ISV partners on packaging, Store submission, OS integration, and deployment issues.
• Navigate Microsoft internal teams (Windows Store, WinGet, product groups) to resolve technical blockers.
• Build sandbox environments and reference implementations to reproduce and solve complex issues.
• Support outreach and adoption efforts with software vendors (approximately 15–20% of time).

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience with Windows desktop software, including packaging, distribution, signing, and OS‑level APIs.
• Proven track record shipping and distributing commercial software products.
• Hands‑on experience with Win32.NET, MSIX, UWP, WebView2, or similar technologies.
• Comfortable working directly with clients and senior engineers.
• PowerShell scripting for automation.
