Web Developer & SEO Specialist (Law Firm)

About the role

We are looking for a creative, results‑driven Web Developer & SEO Specialist to own and launch a new website for a law firm. You will transform approved design mockups into a fast, responsive, conversion‑focused site while driving organic visibility and case generation.

Key responsibilities

• Build a fully responsive website from design mockups using Webflow or WordPress, and maintain it post‑launch.
• Create and update practice‑area pages, location landing pages, and blog templates within the CMS.
• Continuously improve UX, page speed, accessibility, security, and Core Web Vitals.
• Manage site architecture, internal linking, crawlability, XML sitemaps, redirects, and structured data (LegalService, FAQ, Review, Breadcrumb).
• Conduct high‑intent keyword research focused on case‑driving terms and local NYC locations.
• Optimize on‑page content in line with E‑E‑A‑T and YMYL legal standards.
• Handle Google Business Profile, local citations, and map‑pack visibility.
• Support link‑building, digital‑PR, and CRO experiments to increase conversions.
• Own GA4, Google Search Console, lead/call tracking, and rank tracking to inform growth road‑maps.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience at the intersection of web design/build and SEO (agency or in‑house).
• Proven track record delivering fast, modern, conversion‑focused sites on Webflow or WordPress.
• Strong technical, on‑page, and local SEO expertise with measurable ranking improvements.
• Highly organized, able to manage end‑to‑end web launches independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in legal or highly competitive local service markets is a plus.
