Web Developer & SEO Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a creative, results‑driven Web Developer & SEO Specialist to own and launch a new website for a law firm. You will bridge technical site architecture with conversion‑focused design, turning the site into a high‑performance case‑generating engine.

Key responsibilities

• Convert approved design mockups into a fast, fully responsive website and manage it end‑to‑end after launch.
• Build and maintain practice‑area, location, and blog pages within the CMS.
• Continuously improve UX, page speed, accessibility, security, and bug‑free operation.
• Own site architecture, internal linking, crawlability, XML sitemaps, redirects, and Core Web Vitals optimization.
• Implement structured data and legal schema (LegalService, FAQ, Review, Breadcrumb).
• Conduct high‑intent keyword research and optimize on‑page content while respecting E‑E‑A‑T and YMYL standards.
• Manage Google Business Profile, local citations, and map‑pack visibility for NYC locations.
• Support link‑building, digital‑PR, CRO experiments, and conversion funnel improvements.
• Maintain GA4, Google Search Console, lead/call tracking, and rank tracking to inform growth road‑maps.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience at the intersection of web development and SEO, preferably in an agency or in‑house setting.
• Proven track record designing and launching fast, conversion‑focused sites on Webflow or WordPress.
• Strong knowledge of technical, on‑page, and local SEO with measurable results.
• Highly organized, able to manage full web launches independently under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in legal or competitive local‑service markets is a plus.
