Virtual Assistant – WhatsApp Community Management

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Virtual Assistant to lead the creation, administration and moderation of WhatsApp groups dedicated to our community across every US state. The role is remote, but candidates must reside in South America and be fluent in English.

Key responsibilities

• Create, launch and manage a WhatsApp group for each US state as the rollout progresses.
• Handle group settings, approve members, assign admin permissions and maintain clear group descriptions and rules.
• Onboard new members, welcome them to the appropriate state group and answer routine questions.
• Monitor daily activity, keep conversations on‑topic, flag spam or inappropriate behavior and remove duplicate or inactive accounts.
• Track group health metrics such as member counts, engagement levels and state‑by‑state growth in a spreadsheet.
• Escalate technical issues, complaints or sensitive situations to the internal team.
• Coordinate with project managers on messaging timing, content calendars and campaign rollouts.
• Support ad‑hoc broadcast lists or polls tied to community initiatives.

Required profile

• Native‑level English proficiency (or professional level).
• Resident in a South American country.
• Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, Community Manager or similar customer‑facing role.
• Hands‑on experience running or moderating WhatsApp groups.
• Strong customer‑service background and ability to manage multiple concurrent chats.
• Familiarity with DeFi or crypto is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
