Training Facilitator

About the role

NIIT is looking for an experienced Training Facilitator to deliver a group‑wide leadership development program for frontline supervisors in the mining and heavy‑industry sector. The role involves creating a safe, engaging workshop environment and supporting the company’s people‑first and operational‑excellence objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate the rollout of a consistent leadership development program starting in 2026.
• Design and deliver interactive workshops that promote psychological safety and behavioural change.
• Provide feedback on program themes and recommend continuous improvements.
• Coach frontline leaders using 180‑degree assessment feedback.

Required profile

• Demonstrated alignment with NIIT’s values and ability to build trust quickly with frontline leaders.
• Relevant industry experience in mining, construction, energy, manufacturing or similar safety‑critical environments.
• At least two years of experience as a leadership development facilitator.
• Previous experience leading a team or supervising staff.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and experiential learning techniques.
• Ability to adapt facilitation style to diverse learning preferences and literacy levels.
• Proficiency in managing group dynamics, resistance and challenging behaviours.
• DiSC certification (or equivalent regional tool).
• Familiarity with Lean / Six Sigma or other business‑improvement methodologies (desired).
• Effective communication in English and the local delivery language.
