TOC Technician

About the role

The TOC Technician will provide level‑1 support for playout and live‑event transmission across Warner Bros. Discovery’s cloud and on‑premise video infrastructure. You will ensure seamless delivery of live feeds and act as the first point of contact for operational inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Support playout technology and transmission chains for WBD live channels.
• Serve as the functional point of contact for operational inquiries.
• Set up, validate, and correct workflows for live‑feed delivery via fiber and cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and transmission teams to resolve time‑sensitive issues.
• Create and maintain SOPs and documentation for the area.
• Perform corrective maintenance on critical services.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a Video Operations Center within a media company.
• Experience with cloud video platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Harmonic VOS.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
• Desirable experience with ITIL processes.
• Experience managing mission‑critical teams and broad knowledge of transport solutions and codecs.
