Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to own the tax function for our Argentine operation. You will build compliant, scalable processes and work closely with finance, business units, and international teams in a fast‑growing automotive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of national, provincial and municipal tax compliance in Argentina.
• Lead monthly and annual tax closing, ensuring accurate calculations, provisions and documentation.
• Coordinate preparation, review and timely filing of tax returns and statutory information.
• Monitor legislative changes, assess business impact and advise management.
• Identify tax risks and implement preventive or corrective actions.
• Lead tax audits, inquiries and disputes with ARCA and other authorities.
• Manage external tax advisors, accounting firms and auditors.
• Partner with Finance and other areas to provide tax guidance on projects and transactions.
• Prepare tax reports for local management and headquarters.
• Design and strengthen internal tax policies, controls and procedures as the operation grows.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting and Argentine Certified Public Accountant qualification.
• Minimum six years of professional experience in Argentine taxation.
• Hands‑on experience with tax filings, statutory reporting, provisions and closing processes.
• Strong knowledge of national, provincial and municipal tax regulations.
• Experience managing tax audits and inquiries.
• Advanced English for regular interaction with regional teams and headquarters.
• Experience in a multinational company or Big Four firm is highly valued.
• Availability to work primarily on‑site in Buenos Aires City.
