Tax Compliance Analyst - Associate

About the role

The Tax Compliance Analyst (Associate) will support U.S. and Canadian tax compliance activities for ExxonMobil, ensuring accurate preparation, analysis, and filing of tax returns. The role blends technical tax knowledge, financial analysis, and process control, with a focus on leveraging new technologies for continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file U.S. and Canadian tax returns.
• Analyze business transactions to determine appropriate tax treatment.
• Calculate and process tax payments and perform account reconciliations.
• Apply innovative technologies to streamline tax processes.
• Conduct audit activities to ensure compliance with government regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams on compliance matters and audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent (or within 4 months of graduation).
• Advanced English proficiency (fluent).
• Strong accounting and tax knowledge.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Power BI.
