Tax Accounting Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Tax Accounting Analyst to join our growing SoFi Controllership team. This position supports the global tax function, helping to improve processes while offering exposure to payroll and compensation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in quarterly and year‑end tax closing tasks, including analysis of the Annual Effective Tax Rate (AETR) and Pre‑Tax Book Income (PTBI).
• Collaborate on the determination of annual corporate income tax provisions.
• Participate in transfer pricing reviews and the filing of tax returns and informative returns across multiple jurisdictions.
• Communicate intercompany operations to each country on a quarterly basis and manage the delivery of required documentation.
• Work alongside Treasury to ensure timely tax payments and help develop tax estimates.
• Handle monthly and quarterly tax payments and analyze withholdings on intercompany payments.
