Strategic Sourcing Specialist – Sourcing Excellence

About the role

The Specialist, Strategic Sourcing – Sourcing Excellence will lead sourcing initiatives for logistics, factory services and MRO, ensuring that pricing, capacity and service levels meet business commitments. You will work closely with finance, supply managers and senior directors to align sourcing strategies with corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Procure logistics, factory services and MRO using negotiation, e‑procurement, auctions and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop and implement supply‑base strategies, evaluating suppliers for current and future needs.
• Manage supply risk through robust contracts, KPI monitoring and corrective actions.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal finance and supply stakeholders and drive engagement.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, systems and controls throughout the sourcing process.
• Provide market intelligence and financial insights to support sourcing decisions.
• Oversee commercial, financial and ethical aspects in collaboration with category managers.
• Manage contracts, track performance metrics and conduct supplier performance reviews.
• Lead supplier collaboration initiatives such as supplier finance, responsible sourcing and e‑invoicing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or supply services, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess macro‑economic impacts.
• Results‑oriented, comfortable setting and achieving ambitious targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
• Proficiency in Ariba.
• Solid understanding of contract law.
