About the role

Fluxon is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to shape the technical direction of its engineering organization. This senior, hands‑on position works remotely with a focus on delivering high‑impact AI‑driven solutions for top‑tier clients.

Key responsibilities

Guide product delivery from concept to user, lead projects, and provide technical guidance in a fast‑moving environment.
Partner directly with clients to understand needs, define requirements, and design appropriate system architectures.
Mentor engineers across multiple teams, fostering growth and strengthening capabilities.
Help drive a healthy engineering culture both within customer teams and at Fluxon.

Required profile

7+ years of professional software development experience.
Proven ability to lead development through the full product lifecycle, including CI/CD, testing, release management, monitoring and incident response.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with strong communication skills for international teammates and customers.

Required skills

Core languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Go, Java, C#, Kotlin, Swift, Rust.
Frameworks: React, Next.js, Angular, SwiftUI, Spring Boot, FastAPI, Django, Expo (React Native).
Cloud & infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, GCP Compute Engine, AWS Fargate, Google Cloud Run.
Data & messaging: PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Firestore, Supabase, MongoDB, Redis, Apache Kafka, AWS SQS, Google BigQuery.
AI/ML: Large Language Models, OpenAI ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, Hugging Face.
