Solicitor – Abuse

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Solicitor to join our nationally recognised Abuse team. Working alongside Partner Tom Fletcher, you will manage your own caseload of complex abuse claims and support senior colleagues on high‑value matters.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all stages of abuse litigation, from initial client contact to resolution.
• Manage a personal portfolio of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse cases.
• Assist senior team members on complex, high‑profile matters and group actions.
• Collaborate with Support and Rehabilitation Coordinators to provide holistic care for clients.
• Represent survivors against institutions such as schools, NHS Trusts, the MoD, and local authorities.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with experience in abuse or related litigation.
• Demonstrated empathy, tenacity, and commitment to client welfare.
• Ability to handle sensitive, high‑profile cases with professionalism.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Knowledge of UK abuse law and group action procedures.
