Software Engineer - Microservices

About the role

123Seguro, a technology company focused on insurance experiences and solutions in Latin America, is looking for a Software Engineer to build microservices for its digital platform. The role works in a distributed applications ecosystem with high requirements for scalability, observability and fault tolerance, and is open only to candidates residing in Argentina.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, operate and maintain the services that interact with the platform
• Develop new backend and frontend features across the systems
• Write unit tests to support development and ensure high quality
• Collaborate on proposed solutions for business challenges and help implement them according to task distribution from technical leadership
• Solve technical problems with a focus on best practices and high-quality software

Required profile

• 2+ years of proven experience designing and developing web applications with RESTful APIs
• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related field
• Proactive attitude, strong interest in learning new technologies and ownership of the features built

Required skills

• Backend: Node.js, Go, Python, Java or equivalent
• Frontend: ReactJS, Angular, VueJS, Flutter or equivalent
• Algorithms and data structures; concurrent programming and distributed systems
• Relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Blob Storage
• CI/CD methodologies and design/architectural patterns
