Software Engineer – C#, Python, C++ with Cloud Expertise

About the role

DaBrein Solutions is looking for a seasoned Software Engineer to design, develop and deliver high‑performance software that powers industrial automation and reverse‑logistics systems. The role works closely with multidisciplinary teams to create scalable, reliable solutions that drive operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, debug and document new and existing software applications for industrial automation.
• Integrate specialized automation technologies such as machine vision, data processing and machine learning.
• Build reporting, visualization and data‑driven tools to support operational decision‑making.
• Create scalable, deployable libraries and tools for reverse‑logistics operations.
• Provide technical leadership, guide best‑practice architecture and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with project managers, automation engineers and cross‑functional stakeholders to translate requirements into specifications.
• Research emerging technologies, develop prototypes and proof‑of‑concepts to expand the team’s capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable, robust solutions for industrial automation environments.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in C#, Python and C++.
• Experience with cloud platforms: Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• Design and integration of RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Machine vision technologies (e.g., OpenCV) and hardware integration.
• Developing or integrating machine‑learning models (TensorFlow, PyTorch a plus).
• DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling and performance optimization.
• Large‑dataset handling, real‑time data streaming and data visualization.
• Microservices architecture and container technologies.
