About the role

DaBrein Solutions is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain applications that power industrial automation and reverse‑logistics systems. The role works closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑performance, scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug, and document new and existing software for automation systems.
• Integrate machine‑vision, data‑processing, and machine‑learning components.
• Create reporting, visualization, and data‑driven tools for decision‑making.
• Build reusable libraries and tools to support reverse‑logistics operations.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and enforce best‑practice standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to translate requirements into specifications and support project planning.
• Research emerging technologies, prototype proofs‑of‑concept, and expand internal toolsets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven ability to deliver robust, scalable solutions for industrial automation environments.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in C#, Python, and C++.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud platforms.
• Design and integration of RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Machine‑vision tools such as OpenCV and hardware integration.
• Machine‑learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) for real‑time applications.
• DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Handling large datasets, real‑time streaming, and data visualization.
• Microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
