Software Engineer — AI Code Ranking

About the role

We are looking for experienced software engineers to help shape the next generation of AI coding assistants. In this fully remote, flexible contract you will evaluate, rank, and improve AI‑generated code across many languages and problem domains, ensuring solutions are correct, efficient, idiomatic and production‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Review and rank AI‑generated code solutions for correctness, performance, readability and maintainability.
• Identify bugs, anti‑patterns, security issues and performance bottlenecks in the generated output.
• Write clear, structured feedback explaining why one solution is better than another.
• Refine AI‑generated snippets to meet production‑level engineering standards.
• Provide preference rankings that guide AI models toward “good code”.
• Work independently on an asynchronous schedule, delivering task‑based results.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C++, Go, Rust).
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and software design principles.
• Extensive experience with code review and the ability to articulate technical decisions in English.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and comfortable working without direct supervision.
