Software Engineer 1

About the role

Qu is looking for an experienced Software Engineer 1 to design, develop, test and deploy .NET solutions for cloud‑based and web applications. You will work on REST APIs, support core business functions, and collaborate with product teams to define new features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy .NET applications, including REST APIs and web front‑ends.
• Build and maintain API services that power various business domains.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best‑practice discussions.
• Conduct spikes to explore and prototype new features.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional development experience with .NET and C#.
• Strong background in building RESTful services and client integrations.
• Experience with database‑driven applications using SQL and preferably NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and containerization (Docker).
• Hands‑on experience with unit, integration and performance testing.
• Deep understanding of software development processes, TDD, Git branching strategies, DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to architect large‑scale, high‑performance, low‑latency systems.
• Willingness to work occasional after‑hours and participate in on‑call rotations.
