Social Media Coordinator – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a creative Social Media Coordinator to join Literally Media’s Cheezburger brand on a contract basis. You will shape and execute social‑media strategies that grow audience engagement, drive traffic and amplify our humor‑focused content across platforms such as Facebook, Reddit, X and Instagram.

Key responsibilities

• Create and curate engaging posts, memes and visual assets for Cheezburger’s social channels.
• Promote existing Cheezburger content and distribute it across relevant platforms.
• Monitor, analyze and report on social‑media metrics, trends and audience feedback to optimise performance.
• Interact with community members, respond to comments and questions, and provide resources related to internet culture.
• Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure messaging alignment and support content initiatives.
• Stay up‑to‑date with meme news, emerging trends and best practices in social media.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience managing social‑media accounts or similar roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Passion for memes, internet culture and humor‑driven content.
