Site Reliability Engineer - Senior Associate (Troubleshooting & Python)

About the role

Join JPMorgan Chase as a Site Reliability Engineer III within Cyber & Technology Controls, where you will design, build, and operate highly reliable, scalable systems using code and cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and assist peers in design consensus and implementation of automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop, test, and deploy solutions for availability, reliability, and scalability across applications and platforms.
• Implement infrastructure, configuration, and network as code.
• Lead major incident response, root‑cause analysis, and blameless post‑mortems.
• Support adoption of SRE best practices and define service level indicators/objectives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience supporting products or infrastructure.
• Proficiency in site reliability principles and at least one programming language (Python or Java/Spring Boot).
• Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform).
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, ECS).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in large teams.
