SEO Operations Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an SEO Operations Specialist to join a fast‑growing Canadian digital marketing agency that serves cannabis dispensaries. The role is execution‑focused, working closely with the SEO Lead to ensure every SEO deliverable is implemented accurately and on schedule across multiple client websites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on‑page SEO implementation and quality assurance for client sites.
• Conduct technical SEO health checks, audits, and resolve identified issues.
• Manage content publishing workflows, including pre‑launch reviews.
• Oversee local SEO initiatives and Google Business Profile management.
• Track backlinks, monitor rankings, and generate regular performance reports.
• Maintain high‑quality standards and ensure timely delivery of all operational deliverables.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in local, on‑page, and technical SEO.
• Detail‑oriented operator who follows processes rigorously and catches issues before they slip through.
• Proactive communicator who provides updates without prompting and collaborates well with internal teams.
• Highly organized self‑starter capable of juggling multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Passion for execution, continuous improvement, and operational excellence rather than pure strategy.
