SEO Operations Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an SEO Operations Specialist to execute on‑page, off‑page and technical SEO tasks for multiple client websites. Working closely with the SEO Lead, you will ensure that all SEO deliverables are implemented accurately and on schedule. This fully remote position supports a Canadian digital marketing agency serving cannabis dispensaries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SEO implementation and quality assurance across client sites.
• Conduct technical SEO health checks, audits and resolve issues.
• Manage content publishing processes and pre‑launch reviews.
• Oversee local SEO initiatives, including Google Business Profile management.
• Track backlinks and ensure proper link building practices.
• Report on project progress and deliver SEO campaign deliverables on time.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in local, on‑page and technical SEO.
• Detail‑oriented operator who follows processes and reviews work thoroughly.
• Proactive communicator who identifies issues early and updates stakeholders without prompting.
• Highly organized self‑starter able to manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight.
• Hands‑on contributor who enjoys execution and continuous improvement rather than pure strategy.
