SEO & Google Business Expert

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven SEO & Google Business Expert to boost local visibility and generate leads for a US‑based restoration company. The role focuses on local SEO for home‑service businesses, turning Google rankings and reviews into real customer inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Google Business Profile listings, including posts, photos, Q&A, services, and categories.
• Develop and execute local SEO strategies to improve map‑pack and organic search rankings for restoration services.
• Conduct keyword research specific to water damage, fire damage, mold remediation, and related services.
• Monitor and respond to reviews, and build systems for review generation.
• Perform on‑page SEO audits and implement technical fixes such as meta tags, schema markup, and site‑speed improvements.
• Track rankings, traffic, and lead conversions using Google Analytics, Search Console, and rank‑tracking tools.
• Build local citations and ensure NAP consistency across directories.
• Collaborate with content and marketing teams on blog posts and location pages.
• Report monthly on KPIs including rankings, calls, form fills, and Google Business Profile engagement.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in SEO and Google Business Profile management.
• Experience in the home‑services, restoration, or contracting sector is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, GBP dashboard, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Moz Local, and BrightLocal.
• Solid understanding of local SEO ranking factors (reviews, citations, proximity, relevance).
• Strong written and spoken English (C1+ level).
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working independently.
