Senior U.S. Tax Associate

About the role

KTB Services is seeking a Senior U.S. Tax Associate to lead tax compliance and preparation for individuals, corporations, and partnerships. This full‑time remote position offers the chance to work with a collaborative team while delivering strategic tax guidance to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for various entity types.
• Research complex tax issues and identify planning opportunities.
• Communicate with clients to gather information, clarify positions, and explain findings.
• Collaborate with accounting and advisory colleagues on cross‑functional engagements.
• Contribute to process improvements and internal best practices.

Required profile

• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. tax compliance and preparation.
• In‑depth understanding of tax law and its practical application.
• Solid finance and accounting background to interpret financial statements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time‑management abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a distributed team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, EA, or progress toward certification preferred.
• Several years of experience in U.S. tax practice (public accounting or similar).
