Senior Software Engineer - Microservices

About the role

123Seguro, a technology company in insurance experiences and solutions in Latin America, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer focused on building microservices for its digital platform. The role involves designing, building, operating and maintaining the platform's backend and frontend services, working in a distributed ecosystem that requires scalability, observability and fault tolerance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, operate and maintain the backend and frontend services of the platform.
• Ensure software quality during algorithm creation, programming and detailed review of Pull Requests.
• Take part in product conception, prioritising business needs and proposing technical solutions.
• Collaborate on architecture analysis, deployment, monitoring, security and other aspects of the software development lifecycle.
• Implement design decisions for a platform supporting multiple countries and products in the region.
• Help resolve technical problems with a focus on good practices and quality software.

Required profile

• 5+ years of proven experience designing and developing web applications with RESTful APIs.
• University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems or an equivalent field.
• Experience building and operating end-to-end microservices with CI/CD.
• Experience integrating with external services under different protocols and security constraints.
• Experience with backend languages such as NodeJS, Go, Python or Java, and frontend frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular, VueJS or Flutter.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, Redis or Blob storages.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or OpenShift.
• Fluent English (desirable).
• Only candidates residing in Argentina are accepted; other Latin American countries are invited to look at other openings.
