Senior Software Engineer – JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js

About the role

We are looking for a highly hands‑on Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex web applications. You will work across the full stack, from backend services to modern front‑end frameworks, and help shape architectural decisions in a distributed, international team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and debug sophisticated web applications and backend services using Node.js and Express.
• Build and maintain Single Page Applications (SPAs) with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Design, integrate, and document RESTful APIs and micro‑services.
• Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers.
• Write unit tests, create technical documentation, and collaborate with QA to ensure robust testing.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, TDD, Git workflows, and Agile ceremonies.
• Support modernization of legacy systems and contribute to system design focusing on security, scalability, performance, and data integrity.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Express.js and at least one modern front‑end framework (React, Vue.js, Angular).
• Proven ability to design and consume RESTful APIs and micro‑services.
• Experience with Docker, Linux/macOS environments, and NoSQL or MultiValue (PICK) databases.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, architecture, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and advanced English (B2+/C1) for collaboration in a distributed team.
