Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable software solutions that power financial operations, payment workflows, and compliance systems. The role involves full‑stack development in a remote‑first environment, collaborating with distributed product and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Build and support full‑stack applications with React and Next.js.
• Participate in architecture decisions, data modeling, and production‑grade deployments.
• Ensure security, reliability, and performance of high‑volume transaction systems.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and propose system improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.

Required profile

• Fluent English (C1 level) with strong written communication.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven experience in backend development with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Professional experience building front‑end applications with React and Next.js.
• Hands‑on experience with relational databases, data modeling, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
