Senior Software Engineer, Build Loop

About the role

Webflow is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive the next generation of Agentic Codebases. This remote‑first position (Argentina) focuses on building scaffolding, tooling, and deployment pipelines that enable product teams to launch backend services quickly and reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build Nest.js service scaffolding for a next‑generation monorepo.
• Create generators, paved paths, and platform primitives to get new services operational from day one.
• Own deployment workflows on Cloudflare and integrate with existing AWS, Kubernetes, Pulumi, and Argo CD environments.
• Lead migrations of large codebases into the monorepo, turning them into repeatable recipes.
• Partner with product teams as platform customers, measuring success by adoption and reducing friction.

Required profile

• 5+ years building and operating backend services in production.
• Experience working inside large, heavily‑coupled codebases and extracting functionality safely.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• TypeScript and Node.js, with familiarity in edge runtimes.
• Nest.js framework.
• Monorepo tooling at scale (Nx, Turborepo, or similar).
• Cloud platforms: Cloudflare, AWS, Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as code tools: Pulumi, Argo CD.
