Senior Software Engineer – Build Loop

About the role

Webflow is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the next generation of Agentic Codebases. This remote‑first position focuses on developer productivity, building service scaffolding, and improving platform adoption for product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Nest.js service scaffolding for new backend services in a monorepo.
• Create generators, paved paths, and platform primitives to enable services to run from day one.
• Own deployment pipelines on Cloudflare and integrate with existing AWS, Kubernetes, Pulumi, and Argo CD environments.
• Lead migrations of large codebases into the monorepo, turning them into repeatable recipes.
• Partner with product teams as platform customers, measuring success by adoption and reducing friction.

Required profile

• 5+ years building and operating backend services in production.
• Experience defining service boundaries, contracts, and data ownership.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Background working inside large, heavily‑coupled codebases and extracting functionality incrementally.

Required skills

• TypeScript and Node.js (including edge runtimes).
• Nest.js framework.
• Monorepo tooling at scale (Nx, Turborepo or similar).
• Cloud platforms: Cloudflare, AWS, Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as code tools: Pulumi, Argo CD.
