Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, build and operate highly reliable, scalable production systems. The role blends software engineering with deep operational expertise to reduce toil, improve observability and help engineering teams meet reliability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, deploy and maintain solutions that increase system reliability, availability and performance.
• Define, monitor and manage SLIs, SLOs and error budgets.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks to minimise manual effort.
• Enhance monitoring, logging, tracing and alerting capabilities.
• Participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis and post‑mortems.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve service resilience and operability.
• Support production systems, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and contribute to capacity planning, performance tuning and disaster‑recovery strategies.

Required profile

• Significant experience in SRE, DevOps, Platform or Production Engineering.
• Proven track record maintaining large‑scale production environments.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and Linux systems.

Required skills

• Python, Go, Bash (or similar scripting languages).
• Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or comparable tools).
• Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, ELK).
• CI/CD pipelines and automation.
