Senior Red Team Security Consultant

About the role

As a Senior Red Team Security Consultant you will join Mandiant’s Red Team Consulting practice to assess and advise clients on technical and process‑based security controls across diverse environments. You will lead adversarial emulation exercises, conduct penetration tests, and contribute to the development of offensive tools and methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform red and purple team engagements, including assumed‑breach and ransomware readiness assessments.
• Execute external and internal wireless, web application, mobile, and embedded system security tests.
• Develop and maintain custom offensive tools and scripts.
• Research emerging attack techniques and integrate threat‑actor intelligence into assessments.
• Produce clear documentation and present findings to internal partners and customer teams.
• Travel up to 30% of the time to client sites as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in penetration testing and red‑team activities covering network, web, mobile, cloud, and social engineering.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Mexican citizenship (required by local labor law).
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
