Senior React Native Engineer

About the role

Blockchain.com is seeking a Senior React Native Engineer to shape the next generation of its mobile applications. You will lead the design and delivery of modular, cross‑platform experiences that bring crypto services to millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable React Native apps using shared modules from mobile and backend platforms.
• Drive a modular architecture that enables rapid assembly of new consumer apps (auth, wallet, trading, on‑ramp/off‑ramp, etc.).
• Define contracts and boundaries between modules to ensure flexibility, reliability, and maintainability.
• Lead complex projects from technical design through delivery, collaborating with product, design, backend, and mobile teams.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools (Claude, Codex) to accelerate coding while maintaining production‑grade standards.
• Own quality, performance, observability, and debugging of shipped systems.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong hands‑on React Native expertise.
• Deep proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern mobile development practices.
• Proven track record of shipping production‑grade mobile applications at scale.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, make technical decisions independently, and mentor junior engineers.
