Senior Project Manager – Enterprise Initiatives

About the role

Assurant is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large, complex, cross‑functional business and technology initiatives that support strategic objectives and enterprise transformation. The role will partner with business leaders, technology teams, vendors and executive stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of strategic outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage enterprise‑wide projects from initiation through implementation and operational transition, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones and success measures.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, resource plans, budgets and governance artifacts.
• Coordinate business, technology, operations, vendor and third‑party resources to achieve project objectives while ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget.
• Identify, assess and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions and change requests; monitor project health, resource capacity and key delivery metrics.
• Facilitate governance reviews, steering committees, status meetings, workshops and executive briefings, providing clear communication of status, risks and recommendations.
• Lead and motivate cross‑functional teams in a matrixed environment, fostering accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 8+ years of project management experience leading large, complex, enterprise‑wide initiatives.
• Proven ability to deliver cross‑functional programs involving multiple business and technology teams.
• Strong leadership, facilitation, negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Exceptional written, verbal and presentation communication abilities.
• Experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO) environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with enterprise project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow or PPM platforms.
• Knowledge of Agile, Hybrid and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
