Senior Financial Consultant

About the role

The Senior Financial Consultant will support expense planning, reporting, and business decision‑making for MetLife’s U.S. CFO organization, focusing on the Group Benefits business. This high‑visibility position blends finance, analytics, and technology to deliver actionable insights and modernize FP&A processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and continuously improve Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for expense insights.
• Create scalable reporting frameworks that enable financial planning, forecasting, and decision‑support.
• Oversee expense analysis, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend actions to improve performance.
• Manage relationships with finance leaders and business partners to align on assumptions, reporting needs, and priorities.
• Develop automation and AI‑enabled solutions to streamline workflows and modernize FP&A.
• Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration to evaluate, test, and scale new tools and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, reporting, analytics, or business intelligence.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial insights clearly.
• Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Power BI (dashboard design, data modeling, scalable reporting).
• Experience with Power Platform tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Hands‑on experience building automation or AI‑driven reporting solutions.
