Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role
Avenga is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its Argentina technology team. You will design, implement, and optimise CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure and observability practices to ensure platform scalability and reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and automate CI/CD processes for multi‑environment deployments.
- Create and maintain IaC templates, scripts and tools to enforce DevOps best practices.
- Act as a technical gatekeeper in release and version management, supporting the full software lifecycle.
- Collaborate with IT and Security teams to manage risk and compliance.
- Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost pipeline efficiency and deployment frequency.
- Implement monitoring, logging and metrics workflows and propose data‑driven infrastructure improvements.
Required profile
- Proven experience designing robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong scripting skills in Shell or Python.
- Deep expertise with IaC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Hands‑on experience with Docker, OpenShift and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS).
- Solid background in AWS services (CloudFront, Lambda, RDS, Aurora, API Gateway, S3, Route 53, etc.).
Required skills
- CI/CD tools: GitLab, Bitbucket
- Logging: Logstash, FluentD, Splunk, Sumo Logic, Graylog
- Observability: Datadog, Dynatrace, Grafana
- GitOps: ArgoCD, FluxCD, Helm Charts (nice‑to‑have)
- Event‑driven messaging: SQS, SNS, Kafka (nice‑to‑have)
- Security compliance and audit knowledge in cloud environments (nice‑to‑have)
