Senior Corporate Accountant (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join a global financial services leader on a full‑time remote basis. The role focuses on complex financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and leading month‑end and year‑end close processes. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and filings.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with financial audits.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• In‑depth understanding of US GAAP.
