Senior Business Development Consultant – Gas & LNG (Relocation to Saudi Arabia)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Consultant to join the Strategy & Business Development Division of Saudi Aramco’s Gas Venture Department. The role focuses on identifying, evaluating and executing upstream gas and LNG investment opportunities worldwide to support the company’s production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Screen global upstream gas and LNG projects and prioritize them using defined criteria such as project maturity, economics and partner quality.
• Lead economic evaluations, financial due diligence and investment analysis for M&A transactions.
• Coordinate cross‑functional M&A task forces, gathering inputs from upstream, legal and origination teams.
• Negotiate investment terms with partners and manage the execution of definitive agreements.
• Oversee technical, financial, commercial, environmental and legal due‑diligence processes.
• Manage external advisors and present high‑quality management information to senior leadership.
• Communicate consistently across the organization to ensure smooth deal progression.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Engineering; MBA or advanced postgraduate degree preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience, with at least 10 years in M&A, business development, and gas/LNG transactions within a major petrochemical or energy corporation.
• Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.
