Senior Brand Design Manager

About the role

CookUnity is looking for a seasoned Brand Design Manager to elevate its creative function, modernize design operations, and differentiate the brand across all consumer touch points. Reporting to the VP of Brand Marketing, you will lead a small team of designers and shape the visual identity of a fast‑growing food marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and evangelize a forward‑looking creative vision, translating it into a cohesive design system for website, app, social, advertising, CRM, packaging and more.
• Design and manage end‑to‑end creative processes, including intake, reviews, stakeholder feedback, and approval workflows to ensure on‑time, high‑quality delivery.
• Champion AI‑based tools to automate repeatable tasks, accelerate production and free the team for higher‑order creative work.
• Mentor and grow a team of designers, fostering a culture of trust, accountability and design excellence.
• Partner with brand copy, product and other functions to deliver integrated visual storytelling and maintain brand consistency.

Required profile

• 8+ years of brand design experience, preferably at top consumer brands or agencies.
• 4+ years of experience managing designers and delivering world‑class visual work.
• Proven ability to operate in a fast‑paced growth environment, handling ambiguity and rapid iteration.
• Strong attention to detail, organization skills and ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Expertise in Figma.
• Experience with Claude Design and other AI design tools.
