Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer at EY, you will act as a technology consultant helping global companies design and build secure, available, and cost‑effective cloud infrastructure. You will work in Agile teams, collaborating closely with client stakeholders to deliver value‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and employ Continuous Integration practices using Azure DevOps, including pipeline creation, YAML debugging, and CI/CD automation.
• Design, build, and monitor Azure cloud infrastructure with Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) templates.
• Develop and maintain scripts in PowerShell or Bash for provisioning Azure resources.
• Configure Role‑Based Access Control, enforce security policies, and manage secrets across environments.
• Utilize Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics for performance tracking and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and IT teams to remove delivery bottlenecks.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure services (IaaS, PaaS) and Azure resource configuration.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipeline tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash; Python is a plus).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
