Senior Associate Product Controller

About the role

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Senior Associate Product Controller to join its Commercial & Investment Bank. In this role you will support financial controllers and trading desks, ensuring accurate P&L, balance‑sheet reporting and month‑end close processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily P&L reporting and month‑end close procedures.
• Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to desk heads, business managers and senior finance leadership.
• Partner with business units to design and implement robust controls and new initiatives.
• Coordinate across front‑ and back‑office functions to resolve control and reporting issues promptly.
• Act as an analytical and project support resource for product control.
• Handle various ad‑hoc requests on a daily basis.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in product control, financial control, accounting or a related area.
• Hands‑on experience with P&L and month‑end close processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
• Solid understanding of financial products is advantageous.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and a focus on control.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships.
