Senior Associate Finance Accounting

About the role

The Senior Associate will support financial reporting and accounting functions for legal entities and general ledger activities within EY Global Delivery Services. This position focuses on Record‑to‑Report and Source‑to‑Pay processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, pre‑payments and adjustments.
• Perform account reconciliations, resolve intercompany discrepancies and maintain chart of accounts.
• Assist in month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing, and prepare financial statements and internal reporting packages.
• Analyse financial data, produce ratio and variance reports, and support process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and CPA certification.
• 2‑3 years of general ledger accounting experience with strong knowledge of SFRS or IFRS.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills, with ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerApps.
• Experience with data‑analytics tools.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
